Current Opening Account Specialist

Account Managers are the front-line and the direct outlet to potential and existing SFS dealers. This position ensures our dealers have the knowledge and understanding of the usability of our products, and are the day-to-day contact for our internal team and existing dealers. SFS Account Managers are responsible for the product shipped to dealers, along with the continuous updating of dealer accounts and records.

Job Activities

  • Ensure all dealer orders are handled in a timely fashion
  • Maintain and update all potential and current dealer accounts
  • Process dealer applications
  • Generate invoices, sales orders, and credit memos
  • Create Fedex and UPS shipment labels
  • Schedule pickups
  • Answer phones and interact with dealers and distributors
  • Fax and e-mail documents
  • Navigate and complete SPS Commerce Webforms
  • Generate reports for supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
  • Participate in trade shows
  • Some face to face interaction with customers at various trade shows and events


  • Communicate ideas that influence others
  • Confirmed ability to establish, maintain and retain loyal relationships while successfully managing service requirements of clients is critical
  • Energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must demonstrate sound judgment and decision making ability
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office, Excel, e-mail and internet functions
  • Experience in Peachtree Accounting Software is preferable but not required
  • Well-developed multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Work effectively with customers and other employees
  • Plan the use of their time and resources efficiently
  • Apply and enhance their abilities to evaluate information
  • Produce innovative, quality results
